Committed to mentoring women in tech, she champions financial literacy and confidence, encouraging others to speak up and take their space in the industry.

Paul Queeney, Head of ICT at Trinity Grammar School

Paul Queeney is Head of ICT at Trinity Grammar School in Sydney, leading technology initiatives that focus on practical, student-centered outcomes. Starting his career in Sheffield, UK, Paul gained global IT experience across Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, before transitioning from corporate roles with PwC and major retailers into education. At Trinity, he has driven key projects like migrating the school’s infrastructure to the cloud with Logicalis. Paul believes technology should solve real problems, not be used for its own sake. He balances his professional work with family life and mentoring future IT leaders.

Vanessa Sorenson, Chief Partner Officer and Managing Director, Microsoft NZ

Vanessa Sorensen, Managing Director of Microsoft New Zealand, embodies resilience and transformative leadership. From a challenging childhood spent in caravan parks and attending multiple schools, Vanessa overcame adversity without formal qualifications. She credits her success to self-belief, lifelong learning, and authentic leadership inspired by kindness and inclusivity. Vanessa champions diversity of thought and inclusive design, driving initiatives to increase Māori and Pacifica representation in tech. Passionate about empowering girls in STEM, she leads Microsoft NZ’s bold commitment to train 100,000 people, accelerating digital transformation while fostering a culture of confidence, collaboration, and innovation.

Karina Foley, IT Leader

Karina Foley is a seasoned IT leader with 25+ years of experience across sectors like Education, Marketing, and Technology. Known for her strategic thinking, she excels at aligning IT with business goals to drive innovation and efficiency.

Previously at Western Sydney University, Karina led IT operations initiatives that enhanced the university's tech landscape and improved the experience for students and staff. Her expertise spans Software Development, CRM Implementation, Cloud Infrastructure, and Service Delivery.

A strong advocate for the not-for-profit sector, Karina is passionate about using technology to drive positive social change.

Anthony Woodward, former CEO of Logicalis Australia

Anthony has over 28 years of experience building and scaling technology companies in the internet and cloud services space. As a CEO, Executive Director, and Entrepreneur, he has led businesses to success by helping them leverage technology to achieve strategic objectives.

Anthony founded Zip World in 1995, a market-leading provider sold to Pacific Internet (now part of Telstra) in 1999. He later founded Bulletproof, which became a leading Cloud Services provider in ANZ, was listed on the ASX in 2014, and grew to $50M in revenue before being acquired by AC3 in 2018.

In 2021, Anthony joined Logicalis Australia, where he contributed to the growth of the global IT services company. He is also a non-executive director of in1bank Limited and the NSW chair of the Pearcey Foundation.

David Calvo, CIO at Northern Health

David Calvo, Chief Information Officer at Northern Health, has over 15 years of IT experience, specialising in leading cross-functional teams in large-scale environments.
With expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud, security, and big data, he excels in managing complex projects and aligning technology solutions with business goals. David’s hands-on approach and strategic focus drive efficiency, innovation, and impactful outcomes across organisations.
