Logicalis Group acquired Thomas Duryea on 1 December 2015, creating a new “IT powerhouse” in the local market. While both organisations shared a focus on technical excellence and delivering business outcomes for customers, they brought different and complementary expertise to the relationship. Combining the strengths of the two businesses created a compelling value proposition for customers.

Both companies were very successful in their chosen fields:  Logicalis in networking, unified communications and cloud; and Thomas Duryea in desktop, data centre, storage and cloud.  Together, it delivers a very compelling value proposition to customers.

In November 2016, Logicalis and Thomas Duryea formally integrated to become Thomas Duryea Logicalis, under a unified management team with a single go-to-market strategy and a strong collaborative business culture.

Prior to the integration of Thomas Duryea, Logicalis established its presence in Asia-Pacific with the acquisition of NetStar Group Holdings Ltd (“NetStar”), a leading IP network infrastructure services provider in Asia-Pacific with capabilities and expertise across data, voice and security infrastructure, in January 2010. The acquisition of Corpnet in 2013 further bolstered Logicalis’ expertise in data centre and extended its geographic footprint into the Brisbane market.
